The Invisible Sign

I am not the first to say so.

But allow me to explain why I judge the world of humanity so harshly by prefacing this with: If I were the Creator of it, this big ball of doo-doo would be a wasteland, and I include myself in this.

Where to begin is not a difficult decision.

Why?

Because the general issues are:

RELIGION & POLITICS
HUMAN GOVERNMENTS
SELFISH AMBITION
AN ENDLESS LIST OF HUMAN FAILURES

Ours is a SO-CALLED Christian nation! Also supposedly “the greatest nation on Earth, with freedom and justice for all.”

What a laugh that is.

First of all, there can be NO SUCH THING AS A CHRISTIAN NATION.

Or am I mistaken that it is biblically recorded regarding this:

John 18:36 — Before Pilate, Jesus states that his kingdom is “not of this world.” He supports this by pointing out that his servants are not fighting to prevent his arrest.

Matthew 5:38–44 — Refusal of retaliation and love of enemies establish an ethic quite different from normal human political and tribal behavior.

In all, there are 93 unique Scriptural references about Christ’s true followers HAVE NO PART IN THIS WORLD’S POLITICS OR OTHER ACTIVITIES.

Biblically speaking, the FRUIT OF GOD’S SPIRIT—whether you call yourself Christian or anything else—is:

The Nine Attributes (Galatians 5:22-23)

• Love: Caring for others deeply and putting them first.
• Joy: A deep, lasting gladness that comes from God.
• Peace: Calmness and trust, even in hard times.
• Patience: Waiting well and staying calm when annoyed.
• Kindness: Treating people with care and mercy.
• Goodness: Doing what is right and helpful for others.
• Faithfulness: Being loyal, honest, and steady in your trust.
• Gentleness: Being humble and soft in how you treat people.
• Self-control: Managing your thoughts and actions instead of giving in to wrong desires

And it goes on to say about that fruitage: “Against such things there is no law.”

Is that what this world looks like?

Is that what THE CHRISTIAN WORLD LOOKS LIKE?

Absolutely not!

But there are many, many laws against the activities, vices, immorality, and avarice of humanity.

Democracy is a joke, as are ALL MAN-MADE forms of government.

Democracy assumes that the majority of the population will be well informed, intelligent, and discerning enough to find and elect an honest, dependable, incorruptible, and unselfish leader.

Well, it is easy to see that the populace of every democratic country, including this one, lacks that mental, moral, and ethical fortitude to accomplish such a task.

A failure that has been repeated fourteen times in my lifetime alone!

We all spend our lives allowing others to make decisions for us, calling them leaders, while, in fact, the power and position entrusted to them do nothing but corrupt them.

Try as you may, the succession of world powers is evidence enough that humanity cannot rule itself.

So, then, logically speaking, our Creator—as has once already happened—will see to it that this madness ends.

And…NO…I don’t expect you to take my word for it.

You can go on believing what you will, that humanity will somehow, eventually, redeem itself.

But …

If that is the case, then why, after six millennia of history to learn from, are there still people living and dying on the streets of this so-called “Great Nation?” And why are its leaders so bent on rejecting those in need while threatening to annihilate the entire populace of another foreign country?

Perhaps Religion Will Show Us The Way?

RELIGIONS too have proven time and again that the god whom they serve is NOT THE GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH; i.e., the Creator.

Just like the nations, they play political games, warring against one another over matters of superiority, power, land, and rulership.

Rather than THE GOD, they serve “the god of this world” (John 14:30)—the same god that saw to it that the prophets were killed, and Jesus Christ and his disciples were executed.

It is the same god that blinded the minds of those who refused to recognize Christ as the Messiah (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Consequently, after some six thousand years of recorded human history, every indication is that we are continually moving closer, and closer, to self-annihilation, with religion at the forefront of its condition.

So, then, regardless of what you label yourself to be—whether Christian, Muslim, Jew, or any of the other THOUSANDS of religions on the planet—or to which country you claim to “PLEDGE YOUR ALLEGIANCE,” the evidence remains:

Unless our Creator is the sole ruler of humanity, we will not survive!
